It’s All a Question of the Technology
Sales of integrated advertising campaigns for print and online are on the rise for publishers like IPC Media. Collaboration with ADTECH gives publishers consistent quality, increased efficiency and more flexibility for their digital advertising.
“It was a good decision for our business to move to ADTECH,” affirms Lisa Charran, Advertising Operations Manager of IPC Southbank.  Before the switch to the ADTECH ad management platform, the five divisions of IPC Media worked with other technologies including ADTECH.  In an age of integrated campaigns and consolidated advertising channels, it was a real stumbling block.

The decision to switch to a single standard solution had the second objective of helping the publisher improve consistency and campaign delivery for their advertisers.  The team didn’t want to do without proven and popular features like ADTECH’s real-time go-live campaign delivery, nor did they want to have to live without the superb customer service.  The good experience paid off and ADTECH was selected as IPC Media’s sole ad-serving service provider.
IPC’s high expectations in the new system were not disappointed.  Customer Service continued its good work right from the start and monitored the migration through personal contact.  “They have come in to the office, sat down us and we’ve gone through it together – a true collaborative approach,” Charran recalls.
IPC’s integrated campaigns now work across magazines and online – for brand consistency purposes they need to blend seamlessly.  The user interface helps during daily booking work.  It’s user-friendly and easy to navigate.  Not only is the layout intuitive, but so are the error messages.  “They are clear, meaningful and easy to correct,” she says of everyday account work.  Other ad servers she had used just provided numerical error messages which she would then have to note down, and then look up in the manual.  She added: “It’s such a huge time saving for me to be told instantly what the problem is.”
Feedback from customers and our own sales team is also positive.  Individual features like Live-Test, the reports and Live-Monitoring are a major help in daily online business for everyone who works with the technology.
